Aloha everyone!  I think this medium of communication may serve us best for the task at hand.  We can share ideas here and then read and review them at our leisure.  The idea is that only those people on a committee can post to that comittee's blog, but all members can read the posts.  if you look to the right side here, you should see a link to the blogs of the other committees. All members should be able to 'comment' on any of the comitee blogs.

I think it might be best to divide the aspects of the community into different categoies just as we did the whole community.  I will suggest seven categoies for Kitchen/Ag here:
  • Main Kitchen: for main meals, commercial certified, etc.
  • Outdoor Kitchenette: communal kitchen, always open, etc.
  • Vegetable Garden: vegetables, herbs, etc
  • Bulk Foods: quinoa, brown rice, etc
  • Fruit Trees: what to plant, where to plant, etc.
  • Edible landscape: herbs, greens, etc.
  • Protocal for communal meals: # of meals per day, wash your own dish, scheduling, etc.
naturally, any of this can be changed and adapted as new ideas come in.
please add any ideas that comes to mind. we can focus on just one category for now, or we can take it all at once.  please try to share only the links that you feel are most important so that we are not overwhelmed with too much material to sift through.
